Strange structures

Hi, so I've updated my minecraft world (to beta1.3) not so long ago and while I was exploring around my base I came across this structure. I didn't build it and my world is a solo world.

When I went inside the structure there was a chest with random loot inside.

I wonder if it is a world generate structure that come with the update but what is weird is that I can't find any informations about it on any minecraft forums. So I post it here because I have no idea what this is.

I honestly don't know what this is. I was digging into my mine and i encounter this 2x2 tunnels.
